ACA plans offer great coverage and affordable rates for those that qualify for subsidies. These plans cover pre-existing conditions, meaning that if you are receiving medical treatment for a condition then it will be covered under an ACA plan but not a private one. Additionally, there are non-ACA alternatives that may be more affordable if you don't qualify for a subsidy. They are not a replacement for major medical or other comprehensive coverage and do not satisfy the minimum essential coverage requirements of the Affordable Care Act. Some examples of benefits that may not be covered are...Maternity coverage, Treatment for pre-existing conditions, Inpatient mental health, and Addiction/substance abuse rehab.
Please read the plan brochures to make the right choice for you.
